MED FRIGO, the international transport, and logistics group for temperature-controlled products and member of Seafoodways, Europe's leading seafood transport and logistics network, recently launched an innovative project on the use of e-CMR in exports under the European pilot program AEOLIX.

Following the cooperation of MED FRIGO with Nestlé Hellas for the pilot application of e-CMR in products exported by Nestlé Spain to our country, MED FRIGO, realized in just a few weeks, 23 routes from Greece to Spain, including the Olano Seafood Iberica transport company (also a member of Seafoodways) and Mercadona, the largest supermarket chain in Spain in the e-CMR program.

The benefits of using e-CMR are summarized in the significant reduction of operating costs and the achievement of high speed, accuracy, and transparency in real-time. In the context of continuous training of its human resources and upgrading of the provided services, MED FRIGO trained 42 drivers in the use of e-CMR and installed the application on their mobile phones with respective email accounts. 22 drivers have performed the procedure so far.
